Its been 6 months, 8 days, 12 hours and still the smell of garlic lingers in my fingers. And since it's only recently that I have been learning how to cook, I never really googled on how to take garlic smell off hands until yesterday. For sure I'm the last person on earth who knows this but I'll write it here anyways...
So turns out all you need is a spoon. Or any stainless steel. It's quite odd actually.
1. Wash hands with soap and water
3. Wash hands again under running water while rubbing a stainless steel (except knife of course haha) all over your hands. Just rub-a-dub-dub.
That's it. I tried it yesterday when I sauted some veggies and guess what, it actually worked. (Aaah so THAT's what those stainless steel soaps are for!) Apparently there is still no real scientific explanation as to why steel lifts off garlic smell but if you know, do sharee coz I'm really curious about it.
Happy Saturday evening!:-)
