28 years later, I'm now turning 31 years old with a 17 month old baby girl, ViraMall is now known as V-Mall, and the UFO kiddie ride is now replaced with some flea market of clothes. Time changes so fast but the memories will live forever. I wanted to have a special place where I can take Rain and make her own kiddie ride memory with me and Richie. Would be cool if it were the same UFO ride I rode in Greenhills but that's gone.
Luckily, there's a children's complex which is a bit closer to our home in Pasig. A place filled with attractions and activities for kids. For sure you already know this place. Fun Ranch! The one in Tiendesitas has been around for a year or so I believe but I never really had the chance to explore it, until last weekend (Saturday, March 23) when I joined other mommy bloggers for the unveiling of Fun Ranch's new attractions!
We started by imitating the hosts' dance steps to Call Me Maybe. Hehehe. I felt silly but I didn't want to be kill joy hehehe.

Mommy Joy of Occasions of Joy looks like she's getting dizzy hehe |
Here are some photos of the rides in Fun Ranch. I was so surprised to find a lot of rides there. I thought they only had that huge Playdium but turns out it was more of a mini theme park already!

In a few years, Rain will get to enjoy the rides. Magkaka-exercise na din si Richie.hehehe. :)
ReplyDeletehahaha! Richie oh... :-)))
DeleteMy favorite is Enchanted Kingdom..I love Rio Grande..
ReplyDeleteI don't have a child yet, but I really want to win this so that I can give it to my cousins who can only get a ride on Worlds of Fun like thrice a year, so I'd like to give these to them..=)
I remember riding the merry-go-round/carousel and the big ferris wheel as a child. I got dizzy, haha! My 2-year-old son, Jacob, would probably like the merry-go-round, the mini ferris wheel, the cups-and-saucers, and especially, the horsey ride.
ReplyDeleteAs a child, I love the roller coaster rides! The Space Quest ride is what I'd like my daughter to try out at Fun Ranch
ReplyDeleteMy all time favorite is the Ferris wheel.. haha.. funny but truth.. for me kasi nakupo ka lang, and you don't need to expose your esophagus.. lol.. I think my daughter would love the bump car or the mechanical horses..
ReplyDeleteAs a mom I want my kids to experience riding a roller-coaster, I'm sure it will bring a lot of fun to them.

ReplyDeleteHi Glaiza! :-) yes it was fun! :-) really hope to meet you soon too!!! :-)
DeleteOur dad used to bring us to Greenhills a lot too when we were kids. I remember there were rides there near National Bookstore Virra Mall, in the outdoor area where there used to be a pond with koi fishes. My favorite ride was the Caterpillar while my sister loved the Swan ride with water. Now that I have a 4-year old of my own, it would be great if he can experience the same fun! I think he'll enjoy the Go! Speed Racing & Bowling. Then he won't be able to stop talking about it again for days on end. Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteWhen i was a child i love going to star city..
ReplyDeletei would like my children to enjoy those classic rides because i believe that its much safer for them.
when i was a child we go to fiesta carnival,my kids would definitely would love to ride the carousel.
ReplyDeleteFerris Wheel and the Roller Coaster really pumps my adrenaline. Though I am really afraid of heights. I just shout my fears away... Hahaha... Now, my 5 year old son has the same fears. We tried a kiddie roller coaster ride and well, let's just say he wouldn't be seen near one any time soon. With that, I know he would love the Go! Speed Racing, since it stays grounded. Hahaha...
ReplyDeleteWhat was your favorite amusement park ride as a child?
ReplyDeleteI think it was the carousel at Fiesta Carnival in Cubao.
What ride do you want your child to try in Fun Ranch?
My kids tried almost everything except for the Pirate Ship. Parang 1 minute lang ata nagyaya na sila bumaba... Hopefully maconquer nila un next time. :)
