Being a stay at home mom can be tiring. You're doing a million and one things at the same time. And it's not exactly like I have a "rest day". Well actually, I do. From around 12 midnight (sometimes much later) till Rain wakes up. Otherwise known as bed time. Ahahahaha! (Not exaggerating!)
But you know, when you see the smile on your child's face, and when you get amazed at how much she is growing and learning everyday, all the hardships don't seem like such a big deal anymore. You'll feel proud of yourself like no matter how many trials you go through, you feel you're doing something right. And THAT deserves a pat on the back... and a chocolate treat!
Happiness can come from a teeny tiny cup such as pictured above. Literally, this lovely interesting looking treat is called Chocolate Happiness by a little girl named Liora (a.k.a Little Pepita!) We first came across this product at last year's Best Food Forward and loved it! It is especially even more appealing when you learn that this was made by a little girl who wanted to help raise funds to purchase three wheel chairs for kids in need :') Such a sweet little girl!
That's why one day after doing some chores, I decided to reward myself and make me some Chocolate Happiness! And I would like to share with you the steps!:
Step 1: Dip in a cup of hot milk
... until the chocolate detaches itself from the plastic cup.
Step 2: Remove the plastic
Step 3: Just keep stirring... just keep stirring...
...until your milk transforms into yummy cup of hot choco with marshmallows! Love!!!
You deserve a cup of Chocolate Happiness too! And if you're a Harry Potter fan, you will be thrilled to taste some Butter Beer made by Liora's older sister Lileya (a.k.a Curly Pepita!) It's AWESOME!!!!!
Find Curly & Little Pepitas tomorrow at Best Food Forward 2013!!! :-)
