I love Pugad Baboy! It's hilarious! Aside from the witty humor based on Filipino family everyday life, the illustrations are hilarious as well! What I especially find funny is Brosia's frank and insulting comments towards her boss, and everyone else in Pugad Baboy Village. So funny!!! But I didn't actually think I would experience getting a comment-ala-Brosia from our maid:
Rina: Vivian, pag ako lang ang kakain ng dinner, gusto ko before 6PM naka kain na ako kasi nagddiet ako. (If I'm the only person at home, I'll have dinner early. Before 6PM. Because it's my diet strategy)
Vivian: Eh mataba parin kayo ma'am eh (But you're still fat, ma'am)
Rina: Wow. Thank you ha?
Dagukan ko kaya to? (Should I thump her in the head?)
But it's okay. It's nice to have some comedy in life sometimes. But it was like a wake up call for me that I need to get back in shape asap even if we attend food events. (Good luck Rina!). I know It's only been 1 year and 8 months since I gave birth but I think it's better to do something early than to keep making excuses and pushing it back. Last night at Bulgoggi Brothers, their new menu was so good I actually ate 2 and a half cups of rice! (Disclaimer: One order is not much actually.Looks like half of the usual Tapsilog-an rice cup serving I promise!)

I know to effectively loose weight I should cut down on carbs and do some exercise. But I don't really have the time to get back to my Hip-Hop Abs right now. So I thought I would just do things that will help burn some calories even for a tiny bit. Something I can do everyday.
Step number one would be to get things I need myself instead of asking the maid to get it. Having a main doesn't mean you have to slack off and let her do everything. When I need something from the room, I'll get it myself. Climbing stairs for sure burns some calories.
Step two is to play more dancing games with Rain. Yes I look stupid when doing it but what the heck? A good example is to imitate the dance moves of the opening and closing dance number of Hi-5 hahaha!
Step 3 is maybe to schedule a walk outside with Rain in the afternoon. For sure she will try to run and I would have to chase her. For sure I'll burn some calories there.
Well these are off the top of my head for now. Things that just basically gets me off my a** and move instead of just sitting all day in front of a computer. Maybe when I'm out to attend events I should park somewhere not quite near from the venue so I'd have to walk a lot hehe.
