And I don't know about you, but my ideal activity for spending the weekend with my family is to EAT OUT. I'm sorry, that's PIG OUT hahaha! And you can never go wrong with American comfort food. No fancy schmacy whatever. Just good old can-be-messy food! And that makes RACKS a good contender.
The interiors of RACKS has changed quite a lot compared to the old RACKS I know. I remember it being all-white. (Lord am I in heaven? No you're just at RACKS, dear.) This time they used more warm hues like creams and browns. Colors I'd pick out when building my rest house.
While waiting for our order (which didn't really take long), Rain decided to ambush her daddy's phone, looking for the YouTube icon. Hehe.

We started with our favorite Onion Brick (P195). A great brick of seasoned, marinated, and breaded onions served with a remoulade sauce and RACKS' famous barbecue sauce. My personal fave is the barbecue sauce!
I ordered a new dish at that time called the Scampi Pasta (P250). A generous serving of pasta with shrimps and broccoli, and sauteed in a chilli-infused garlic olive oil mixture. The chilli was too strong for my liking, which is why I was glad I also ordered....
....their super yummy Fish and Chips (P350). Batter Fried London Style served with fries. It looked so good that without thinking, I started cutting myself a piece and eating it right away, forgetting to take a photo first. Like how Richie would immediately eat his food before I could take a photo (Yes dear Richie you can stop that smug smile now)
We got the Quarter Rack Beef Ribs (P385) for our helper with Macaroni and cheese siding which we have to Rain, and then we ordered an extra rice for the helper to eat along with her beef ribs.
Here's Rain enjoying her yummy and creamy Mac n Cheese!
I was originally planning on sharing my scampi pasta to Rain but like I said earlier, turned out the chilli was a bit stronger than I was expecting. Actually I really didn't see the word "chili" on the product description hahaha! So I was glad that we had ordered mac n cheese as a siding. Rain also loved the fish from the fish and chips! She ate a lot of it!
And here is the Pickiest Eater's order. My hubby is a certified Meat lover. And he loves Ribs. So this Sweet and Smoky Boneless Pork (P385) is a no-brainer to him.
Richie loves his meat sweet. So he really liked this one. It's a perfect fall-off-the-bone rack of ribs!
After our scrumptious meal, I was happy to bump into two old friends! Cousins Rain and Doreen! Oh my goodness what's up with my smile?
