We started the day by having what I would like to call "silog" breakfast at Aristocrat's Makati Branch. They have excellent breakfast sets all of which consists egg and garlic rice. Right after, we hopped on our fun V and started our road trip to Subic.
They also have a survival school where in natives would demonstrate how to pretty much survive in the wild using only a huge knife. It's really cool! But more on that later. Let's start on the zoo!
The Zoo Part
They don't have much animals yet. They've been open for around a year or so and they're still developing the place. Nevertheless, we still had fun seeing amazing parrots and and other exotic and funny looking birds! Check out the photos of these amazing birds that deserve to be on the cover of a Bird's version of Cosmopolitan or Vogue hehe...
Our tour guide for the day
Nope. Not a bad hair day. Its feathers are really like that!
And check out these curly pigeons!
Meet Tina Turner (black) and Elizabeth Ramsey (white). That's really what the zoo folks call them hehehe.
In this area, birds roam around freely. It's like a huge walk-in cage.
They also have an insect area. In the photo is the spider section.
Rides and Attractions
Jest Camp is a perfect venue for company team building. Here's the Aerial Adventure Walk where you can experience going through an aerieal obstacle course. It looks easy but I really wouldn't know because I was too chicken to try it hahaha! Plus I was wearing the wrong shoes. (Girls, you understand me right?)
And check out Goliath's Swing! It takes you waaay up...
....and swings you right by the cliff! :-)
The Mess Hall: Luto Sa Buho Lunch
Since we were so stuffed from Aristocrat, we weren't able to experience the Mess Hall where people eat food cooked from bamboos, in an eco-friendly setting! Read more about it here.
And of course, as any amusement parks and zoos, they also have a gift shop waiting for visitors to purchase some remembrance!
