Marie France Introduces i.Lipo in the Philippines!

A few years ago when I was still working for the corporate world, I walked a lot. I walked to and from work from C. Palanca Street to Paseo De Roxas everyday. That's why no matter how much I ate I didn't gain as much. Also during those days I was on the zone. Everyday as soon as I got home, I would immediately change to my sweats and put on Shaun-T's Hip Hop Abs on the dvd player. I would look forward to that everyday.

Then a year or so later, I started working from home, and then soon after, my little Rainbow was born, and the pounds were born as well hahaha! Truth is it's hard to get myself to exercise especially now that I'm taking care of my 2 year old (and not to mention attending food events for ThePickiestEater.Net ). Getting back into shape is easier said than done. But I am claiming it... I will start working on it and hopefully get myself back in the zone sooner or later even though it may seem that the chances of me slimming down to this size again is close to impossible (but here's hoping!)

But in the meantime, but it's nice to know that there's a quick and painless way to IMMEDIATELY shrink down to at least 4 inches size smaller in just a few minutes with just ONE NON-INVASIVE SESSION! Marie France introduces i.Lipo!!!

NEW Hi-5 Sing Along and Video App for iTunes

I never used to like Hi-5 until I had a daughter and our tv was always glued to Disney Jr. After a few episodes I've grown to liking it mainly because of the opening songs. (That's not totally true. I also think Tim is cute! Too bad he left the show already). Anyway, they're not the usual nursery / lullaby sounding children's song that can make one go crazy. They're actually nice songs that you find yourself singing along to. Or stuck in your head for a long time.

hi-5 app

And so with the opening songs being the best part of the show, Singa Entertainment developed a sing-along app of the top Hi-5 songs! Frustrated mom singers! Here's your chance to make your own video with your kids! And it's FREE! Hehehe

My First Crayola 3-in-1 Desk

crayola 3 in 1 desk

Toddlers and crayons are a recipe for either 2 things: Recipe for a future artist, or recipe for vandalized walls hehehe. That's why it's so fun to invest in art stuff in these early ages of toddlerhood. And this My First Crayola 3-in-1 Art Desk that Rain received as a gift last Christmas is perfect for toddlers itching to scribble with crayons! Your toddlers can scribble in 3 different ways!

Relax Your Senses with Hello 5 Vietnamese Coffee

hello5 deluxe coffee

Nothing relaxes me like being on the beach, or my own bed, and of course, a cup of aromatic coffee. In fact, a meal isn't complete without my coffee afterwards. One time halfway through my breakfast, I suddenly remembered that we were out of coffee. It felt like the end of the world! Anyways, most of the time when I'm at home, I'm already happy with 3-in-1 coffee mixes because it's so convenient. But a few days ago I was able to a good premium coffee from Bennett and Palmer, in which was so good that I didn't mind manually making myself!

Can Your Child Be Suffering from Food Intolerance?

LifeScience form

I'm pretty sure you all know my husband, The Pickiest Eater. When he first started thinking about making a food blog to write about his food adventures, he asked me for my thoughts. And somewhere in the middle of conversing, I chuckled thinking (and saying out loud)... "...but how can you put up a food blog when you're the pickiest eater in the world?" And then boom! That's where he got his blog name.

It's true though. Although Richie loves eating out and trying new stuff, he's actually very picky. But his picky-ness is not entirely because of his personal preference. Sure he's not a fan of veggies and tofu, no sugar and low fat stuff etc., but a huge chunk of reason is actually due to his hyper acidity. Every time he eats anything with tomatoes or anything citrus, anything at all, his stomach acts up. Tomatoes and citrus-y stuff are his kryptonite!

He's lucky that he knows well enough that those food give his body a bad reaction. While I, on the other hand, have never had any food allergy or intolerance.... that I know of.... so far. But maybe I do have... I just don't know it yet. For all I know it could be the one triggering my sudden attacks of migraine, or the itchy skin problem I started having recently. (I don't want to talk about it.Sniff!...)  But I will know in 2 weeks time. How?

Thanks to Cambridge Nutritional Science or CNS (the premier provider of food intolerance testing or FIT, who has recently made world-class food intolerance testing available here in the Philippines. The first and the only one available in the country. And I was lucky enough to try this test!

Tokyo Disney's Once Upon a Time

A few moments ago, my techie little Rainbow landed on a video posted by YouTube user Hannaa Montan taken in Disneyland Tokyo. And I just couldn't wait to share it here coz it's the first time I saw it!

Disney Imagineers used 3D Projection Mapping coupled with fireworks and strong lazer lights on Cinderella's Castle so everything looks like it's really happening in the castle, or as if the castle itself is transforming. Perfect for Disneyland! It's called Once Upon a Time, runs for 18 minutes and 29 seconds long! I can't wait to see it with my own eyes! :') I want to cry!!!! Let's go dear husband!!!!!!!!!!!

Do It Together with the NEW Oreo App on iTunes!

do it together oreo app

Whoever thought a small treat could bring families closer together? Sounds bizarre but you would immediately understand when I say that that treat is an Oreo cookie. Oreo has been around since 1912, promoting the importance of family time and togetherness, with a simple snack break. We know the famous milk dunking commercials that always touch our hearts. And yes, the're always of families dunking an Oreo cookie together.

From 1912 until the present times, where the world is practically run by the world wide web,  Oreo still makes it their goal to find ways to promote family quality time. And in this world of smart phones and tablets, Oreo has created a family app that is filled with fun activities that you can do with the whole family!

It's the Oreo DIT (Do It Together)!!!

Our Stay at Disneyland Hollywood Hotel, Hong Kong!

disneyland hollywood hotel

What made our family trip to Hong Kong Disneyland extra extra extra special is that we stayed in Disneyland Hollywood Hotel! I thought it was just going to be a nice hotel with Mickey Mouse all over. But it was more than that. Like the Disney animations and theme parks, there's that feeling of magic! (Thank you mom and dad for treating us here!!!!)

Toddlers and Veggies

toddlers and veggies

Such a pleasant surprise. Rain apparently loves lettuce. I'm so proud!

The other day we were at Louisiannah's Coffee Bar and Bakeshoppe at Antipolo and we were having this huge delicious burger with 6 inch patties for only P195! And then anyway I took a pinch of burger (I made sure I was able to get a piece of bread and meat and lettuce in that pinch) and gave it to Rain. But she didn't seem interested. So instead, I tried giving her just the lettuce. She ate it. And she asked for more.

Palmolive Naturals' NEW Body Wash

palmolive body wash

I don't know about you but for me there's something more fun in bath time when using a body wash versus a bar of soap. I guess because it's more fragrant, and we all know that fragrance helps wash away all the stress. Plus, it's kind of fun scrubbing with a loofah haha!

So check out my new bath buddies! The NEW Palmolive Naturals Body Wash! Another excuse to take long relaxing baths!

american omelette

I never knew there were different kinds of omelette until I attended the MAGGI Cook Dali seminar some few days ago. And Chef Eric showed us how to make a French omelette and an American omelette. But I'm going to cut to the chase and reveal that they're actually the same, except for the fold. Here's how!

Got some leftover meat but you don't know what to do with it? There's a way you can make it into a new easy dish that can serve a lot. And that's by way of a Fritata! During our MAGGI Cook Dali seminar, Chef Eric taught us some simple egg dishes that even someone like me can pull off at home haha! First was the egg salad, next was this festive Fritata using MAGGI Magic Sarap!

Eggs 101 with Maggi Magic Sarap (Part 2): EGG SALAD

maggi egg salad

Thanks to the MAGGI Cook Dali Seminar, I learned a great deal about eggs. Tips and tricks, and more importantly, recipes! One of Rain's favorite food is egg (that makes the two of us) and so I was thrilled to learn about simple recipes I can do with a simple egg and a sprinkle of MAGGI Magic Sarap. Like this easy to make Hard Boiled Egg Salad!

Eggs 101 by Maggi Magic Sarap! (Part 1)

kitchen doors

Right behind these walls is an amazing kitchen that taught me of what I though was a simple task but can actually be quite tricky. Tricky especially for someone like me who could could only cook potential accidents in a kitchen, and not food haha!

5 Things I'm Okay with NOT Doing

Just watched The Descent. And it just validated the reason why I'm too scared to do incredibly adventurous things. Call me a wuss, I'm fine with that. All I know is that these are the top 5 things I'm okay with NOT DOING in my life...

#5: Sky diving- jumping without any harness is not in any form inviting to me. But even if there was a harness...

#4: Bunjee jumping - I do not wish to deliberately jump off a bridge and hit my head on the ground if the bouncy rope thingy snaps. Even if there were no jumping involved like ....

#3: Rock climbing - just thinking about it makes my palms and feet sweaty. That's why stairs and elevators were invented! But even if being on tall heights wasn't a factor like diving....

#2: Night diving - that's still a negative. Snorkeling I can handle. But only at daylight and only at the shallow parts. But diving tons of feet into the depths of the ocean? No thank you. Diving at night? Underwater with pitch black visibility? Are you crazy?!

Top 1: Going inside caves - I'm claustrophobic. Who knows when the cave really leads and when the cave suddenly decides to crash down and trap you there forever?! I don't like literally digging myself into a deeper hole. (I just googled the deepest cave in the world! And it is insane!!! (

I'm really not, in any shape or form, sporty. I stink at any sports games too. I'm happy just sitting by the bleachers and cheering for support. Hehehe :-)

Just a random post :-)

2 New Crocs Styles for Girls this Summer!

Confession, I didn't used to like Crocs before. Especially those huge clogs. But I learned to appreciate them after they released some stylish ones that I could actually consider wearing in public. And once you experience the lightness of Crocs, its hard to go back to any other shoe! It's almost as light as a feather and doesn't hurt my feet when I use it for walking. Plus, I can use it in the rain or walk on puddles because it's of course waterproof!

Now, Crocs has released a new line of cute Crocs designs for kids that are not only adorable, and comfortable, but perfect for the summer too!
