Melaware's New Disney Frozen Collection Dining Sets and Vintage Collection

        It's not too obvious that I'm so excited to share this with you. Because I already have yesterday using all my social networks hahaha! You know Melaware? It's been around for 30 years and they're makers of dining set made of melamine. I'm sure you've seen them in leading department stores. Those light melamine plates with gorgeous designs? Yep that's them! And now they have brilliantly tied up with Disney to make their new Disney line!!! They already have Mickey Mouse and the gang, Cars, Disney Princesses, and now... you guessed it... FROZEN!!!!

The Cars starter set on the other hand is pretty cool too because of the extended part where you can hold the plate when serving. 

And last but not the least, every girl's favorite... Frozen! Children will love eating with pretty pictures of Princess Anna and Queen Elsa. I almost felt bad covering it up with Rain's breakfast food earlier haha!

Unboxing the Starter Sets

        I attended the Health in a Platter session yesterday where we got to learn about healthy eating, food intolerance and more! (More on this on an upcoming post soon!), and everyone in the room almost squealed in delight when we were told that we will be bringing home our own Disney Starter Sets! 

(Or was I the only one who practically squealed and clapped hard?)

        The thing is, these are not just pretty plates. First of all, Maleware plates are very durable , they are unbreakable, and are heat-resistant. No need to worry about toddlers accidentally dropping these babies because they won't easily break. And you won't have to worry about dropping it yourself when you wash them because it's very light. They use 100% melamine which is safe and passed all standards! Oh, it's stain-resistant too! And I love how sturdy it feels. It's a bit heavier than those plastic plates so you can really feel the good quality and know that it will last for a loooong time.

        The Frozen 3 piece starter set comes with an Anna and Elsa plate, an Olaf bowl, and a Kristoph cup. I love how the plate is a bit deep, so the food won't slide out of the plate.

        The Cars 3 piece starter set is unique on its own because there's an extended part where I assume you can hold the plate when it's hot. Love the red fire engine color on this one!

This one's for the Mommies!...

        Now this is the other reason why I was so ecstatic yesterday when I opened the gift bag from Melaware. They gave us our very own Melaware Vintage!!! And they are adorable! So dainty! Perfect for your tea parties! I better brush up on my my English accent! " Moooo teeee?" (*More tea?)

        I have a confession to make... I asked our helper to make me a cup of coffee but using my new Vintage Melaware mug. I forgot to instruct out helper to use the kettle for heating the water rather than putting it in the microwave. So yes, she used the microwave. But good thing I saw it after around 30 seconds probably. But the mug was in tact and in shape! No signs of damage! Phew! Now that's durable! (But you really can't use it for mircowave though). Now I'll let the photos speak for themselves...

        They are really very pretty and something you can really use even when you have guests over. They're very presentable. In fact, a lot of restaurants use Melaware! Thanks again Melaware for our brand new plates! I really love them!
