Elephone Available TODAY 12 Noon Only at Lazada!

Elephone P9000

There's a new cellphone brand in the block! A brand with great quality, great specs, but very very affordable. And it's exclusively available in Lazada starting 12 Noon today, April 18, 2016!

Meet Elephone! A fast-growing Chinese smartphone manufacturer that creates user-friendly, top quality, amazing performance smartphones, but for a super duper excellent value for money. It has been making waves in Europe and Southeast Asia, and now it has reached the shores of the Philippines through their partnership with Lazada.com.ph!

So without further adieu, meet the Elephone P9000, P8000, and S1!!! Starting with the...

Elephone P9000

Elephone P9000

Meet Elephone P9000. Very sleek, very light, and vibrant. First thing you will notice is that it has a big screen-to-body ratio. Meaning the body is slightly smaller than other big smart phones in the market, but the screen is just as big. The bezel (meaning the black frame on the sides of the screen) is very narrow because of the big screen. There's almost no frame on the side.  This definitely gives you more screen than body. The screen itself is vibrant and crisp. The touch response is very quick and moves smoothly.

What's pretty amazing is that with the low price, it already has a fingerprint scanner at the back to unlock the phone and controls apps permission. And it reads your fingerprint in as quick as 0.2 seconds. Secondly, it supports wireless charging and can charge fully in only under 70 minutes!

The design is very sleek with its sophisticated metal frame.

Next up...

Elephone P8000

Elephone P8000

Compared to the P9000, the P8000 is a bit heavier and thicker, but has a more premium feel for me because of the metal frame. But like the P9000, the screen is also crisp and vibrant, no lags in movement. Multi-tasking (jumping from one app to another) is not a problem as well. This won't let down bloggers or social media managers who need to post photos or videos in multiple social media apps. Or business men/women who constantly need to check emails and then jump from one website to another.

But what really sets the P8000 apart is the battery life. A whopping 4,165 mAh! Perfect for people who are always on the go. With regular use, you may not need to bring a powerbank with you! The 4165 mAh can give you up to 21 hours of talk time, or 2-4 days stand-by at regular use.

Elephone P8000

"Well maybe it takes a while to charge because of the great battery capacity?" you say. Well, you'd be surprised to know that because of its unique smart 2A input, the P8000 can be quickly charged from 0% to 10% in only 10 minutes.

Elephone P8000

The P8000 also has a 360 degree fingerprint scanner that reads very quickly. The back camera is a 13 MP Samsung camera that takes good photos even under low lighting.  The front camera is a nice 5MP.

P8000 Specs

  • 5.5 inches, 1920x1080
  • 3GB RAM + 16GB ROM
  • 13MP Samsung Main Camera + 5MP front camera
  • Fingerprint Scanner
  • 1.3Ghz MTK6753 Octacore
  • Android 6.0 Marshmallow
  • 4G LTE
  • 4165mAh battery

Price: P7,799 only!!!

Last but definitely not the least....

Elephone S1

Elephone S1

The Elephone S1 is probably one of the best basic smartphones you will ever have. In fact, you can't really call it basic with it's features that most entry-level phone models have. The Elephone S1 definitely packs more features!

First of all, it's pretty smooth with its MT6580 Quadcore CPU. It can handle games and fancy social apps with ease. While most entry-level phones crash with every Facebook app update. Screen is vibrant and crisp with its 1280 x 720 HD screen.

At first I just had trouble looking for the usual buttons at the bottom (back, menu, multi-task). I was trying to press the bottom area of the S1's body. Turns out you have to swipe from the bottom of the screen and up to reveal the 3 main buttons. Hahahaha! My toink moment!

Elephone S1

Second of all, the design is very sleek with its double-sided glass, and metal framing.

Elephone S1

Oh, and this "basic" phone already packs a 13 MP Sony IMX149 rear camera. Whaaaat?! Front camera is 2MP only though. But it's pretty good especially when you read the price of the S1.  And yes, that square in the middle of the back of the phone is a fingerprint scanner. Need I say more?

S1 Specs:

  • 5.0 inches, 1280 x 720 screen
  • 1.3 Ghz MT6580 Quadcore
  • Android 5.1
  • 2MP Front Camera
  • 1GB RAM + 8GB ROM
  • 13MP Sony Main Camera
  • Fingerprint Scanner
  • 1,800 mAh Battery

Price: P3,999 only!!!

  2. As the price concerned, P8000 with MTK6753 chip, 3GB+16GB storage and Android 5.1 is a good option. Oukitel k6000 pro with 6000mAh and Android Marshmallow is also a good budget phone with $149.99.What do you think?
